This shows you how games are being rated in their respective categories. Graphics: Graphics are based on visual presentation. Factors include the awe factor, the cleanliness of both gameplay graphics, as well as cut scenes. Part of the score is based on how the game looks for its respective system. Sound: Sound is based on the quality of all audio in the game. Sound Effects, Music and Voice Overs (if any) are what is being judged here. What really counts here is the clarity, quality, and realism Playability: Playability is based on how playable the game is? One aspect based on the controlling of the game, as well as actual gameplay. The key factors for the controlling is how the game controls. Key elements include Menu(s)and game controls. The other aspect is mainly focused on the storyline, the characters, as well as interactions between the two. At times some games may have no storyline, and makes perfect sense. Ultimatley its based on how the game plays, and how its played. Bang For Your Buck: The bang for your buck is based on two main factors. Is the game going to stay in your collection, or will it be a title you'll trade in or sell. The second factor is the value. Value will vary depending on condition, location, age, as well as MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) for current games. Older games will be based on either value charged at a used game store, or eBay. Some games are worth the money, other games aren't worth it even if we were paid to play it. All categories are ranked on a 0-5 scale with 5 being the best. The overall score is based on additional factors besides the guidelines posted above.
